We were a group of four persons traveling the Camino for the first time. As we are older we requested both hotel and luggage service. Iberian provided both flawlessly. In addition, Iberian arranged wine tours and a city tour of Pamplona. We worked with Jeromy, a seasoned pilgrim that knew exactly what we wanted. Sept 2022. My first Camino … I am so lucky a friend recommended Iberian Adventures and Josephina! My pilgrimage involved some 25 hotels, 2 sets of friends coming and going, and 2 weeks solo. Josephina listened to what I/ we wanted and designed a MAGICAL trip that transversed the Frances, the Roman route and Primitivo — all I had to do was walk and enjoy. A high recommendation for Josefina and her team at Iberian Adventures as she organized a one month personalized self-tour of Spain. Hotels, inns, farm-houses, tour guides, train tickets and activities were customized to our desires, interests and fitness, and communicated thoroughly in a written daily itinerary, as well as by WhatsApp messages and voice calls. Josefina was readily available every day to answer questions and make recommendations, personal attention that made us feel so much more safe and comfortable throughout our stay. For example, she even called on her network of travel professionals to help me get tickets on short notice to the Alhambra when I called her from the train to Granada.

The last half of our Spain adventure was a wonderful walk on the Camino Frances. We cannot say enough thanks to Iberian Adventures for making it an experience of a lifetime. The whole trip was well laid-out for us, and we could enjoy being together "in the moment" as we walked, while knowing our luggage awaited us at each new beautiful inn along The Way. Josefina even took time to meet us as she was guiding another family!

Let me give Josefina and her colleagues at Iberian Adventures a BIG shout out for their Best of the Northern Caminos: ”El Camino del Norte” & “El Camino Primitivo”. They have artfully knitted together a bit of walking and “sight-seeing” along the Norte, arranged engaging city walks in Bilbao, Olviedo, Lugo and Santiago, and guided our small group up the Primitivo to Santiago (with a side trip to Finesterre).
