Fui con mi pareja de vacaciones, ahí pasamos un día. Todos los empleados están súper amable y te ayudan donde pueden. La habitación era muy limpió y muy bonito decorado. Tengo solo un punto negativo. Teníamos la habitación minusválida y no se que es la mejor manera para duchar. A nosotros ha salido todo el Aqua y teníamos el baño después mojado por todo el lado. Lo demás todo perfecto.|Volveremos

I attended the NVIDIA conference, and by sheer coincidence, all nearby hotels were fully booked—leaving me with no choice but to book this hotel, which is only a 50-minute drive away. Although I arrived very late, the front desk attendant, a reserved yet exceptionally friendly and professional young lady, made me feel incredibly welcomed and at ease.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by its remarkable cleanliness. For the price I paid, this hotel far surpassed the quality of the $500–$600 hotels I’ve experienced in San Francisco. Regardless of who the owner is or who handles the cleaning, I must commend you on your outstanding standards. In today’s world, it’s rare to find a hotel that conducts business, management, and service with such integrity.

Although the hotel is not positioned as a high-end establishment, any initial hesitation I had completely vanished upon arrival. In fact, if I ever find myself in this area again, I will not hesitate to book a week-long stay. Compared to the overpriced hotels in San Francisco that often fail to deliver true value, your hotel is like an oasis in a desert.

Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was a delightful bonus. It left me feeling refreshed and energized, allowing me to enjoy the beach scenery the next morning before returning to the conference. I truly appreciate the heartfelt service, especially from the front desk attendant—her kindness and professionalism made all the difference.

Thank you to the entire team for providing such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, and genuine care.

This is the newest hotel in Half Moon Bay. It is south of town between Cameron's Pub and Cameron's RV park (and, yes, Cameron has an interest in the property). We are locals, and when our furnace crapped out, we decided to stay there. The property is newer, well-maintained, clean -- and the heat works! There is a Keurig coffee maker in the room, but like most CA hotels, do not expect to find a bar of soap (only liquid soap). (I think bar soap causes climate change or is bad for the Delta smelt, or some stupid thing.) It is strange that there is no light above the coffee maker; the only way you can get light there in he morning if your partner is still sleeping is to use your phone or turn on the lights in the entire room. (The bathroom doors are hung such that they shut if you do not hold them open so you cannot count on light from the bathroom). No complaints about the room.||||We thought the breakfast was fine. Bagels, an homage to an egg mcmuffin, a croissant counterpart, coffee, juice, cereal, etc. This is not your typical BW breakfast, but I think it was better than the fake bacon, chicken sausage patties, and powdered eggs that one typically sees. If you want a great breakfast, stay at the Ritz and pay a gagillion dollars for it (and the room). (Or go to Joe's diner which is a little further south on Highway 1.)||||My only gripe was with the Virtual Assistant. Very slick technology, but like AI, garbage in, garbage out. I tried to extend my stay which I have done dozens of times in my 40+ years of traveling, and you would have thought that I'd asked them to turn lead into gold. So after trying to get that done, I walked away from it. Much to my surprise, I got a call from the property manager that afternoon. He had heard from the VA and wanted to know the story. He was very sympathetic and got it. You do not treat BW Platinum members (or any customer) that way. I was very pleased with that, and when we checked in that night, he was great. When we could not get the TV working, he handled it personally.||||Oh, and Cameron's pub is next door. There is a lot of shtick in the decor, but the food is comfort food and not bad. (We eat there regularly.) Service can be wobbly, but dishes such as grilled cheese, fish & chips, pizza, and fried chicken, are tasty. There are also English dishes on the menu. I have often wondered why he does not serve an English breakfast, but they do not open until lunch time.||||So, if you are coming to HMB, you can stay here with confidence. If you have RItz Carlton tastes, you should go to the Ritz. But if you want a nice, comfortable, and clean place to stay in our beautiful Coastside town. this is a good choice.

Our biggest concern with this hotel was the way the front desk is staffed. When we checked in the person would not give us the price that we were being charged. Although she was difficult to understand, I believe she said she was charging the amount of our entire stay at check in. I asked for a receipt so I would know the amount she was charging and she said she couldn't give me one, that I would have to wait for an email.

Then when I was checking out I had further questions about my bill. There was nobody in person at the front desk. I had to speak to a virtual agent on a computer screen at a kiosk near the desk. A group of people were seated very near the kiosk and talking loudly. I couldn't hear the agent because his speaker volume was so low and he was difficult to understand. I asked them to be quieter but it didn't help much and they remained the entire time I was there. He had to type his responses to my questions which took considerable time. We spent 45 minutes at the kiosk.

The breakfast is below standard for Best Western Hotels in my opinion. They served breakfast sandwiches, all with meat. One of the people in my group had a sandwich that had been in the warmer so long that it was impossible to cut it in half, the bottom was so heated hard. No hot option for vegetarians. No scrambled eggs, no bacon, no potatoes, no hard boiled eggs, no plain oatmeal, no toppings for oatmeal/yogurt.

Our rooms were in very good condition as well as attractive. We had no adjoining room noise. However our rooms did not have a microwave. The hotel is relatively new. According to information they provide, it was built in 2017. We appreciated that they allow dogs.

This hotel is very expensive for the service and breakfast provided.
