Beautiful property! We stayed in the Buena Vista room, which is spacious and very well appointed. The separate entrance was super convenient and the balcony was a wonderful place to enjoy the delicious breakfast that was lovingly prepared and delivered to our door each morning.

We, and our elderly Maltese, stayed in the Rio Vista room last night. First, the room was amazing. It had everything we could possibly want fridge (perfect for keeping our pup’s food fresh), coffeepot, etc, in addition to a sandy, leafy patio that our little dog could use. The views were fantastic and just watching the waterfall in the pool was so soothing. Since this room is ground level, it was even better. Our little dog had to go out several times during the night (we tried to be as quiet as possible) which made this room even better. Then, the breakfast this morning was absolutely delicious and perfect for us…eggs, toast, fruit, avocado, juice, cheese, tomatoes, and coffee and tea. I had asked for the romance package and we came back from a fabulous dinner in the Enchanted Forest, to a room strewn with rose petals, chilled champagne, chocolates, and a delicious chocolate, caramel cake. It was beautiful and delicious. This B&B filled our hearts desires and really deserves a 10 star rating. Thank you, Bella Vista, for such an amazing night.

The property is very private with incredible mountain and river views. Each room is distinct and beautifully decorated. This is a wonderful, quiet retreat perfect for couples. It is close to the historic town of Coloma and local wineries. Our breakfast was hand delivered to our room and we enjoyed dining on our balcony overlooking the hillsides. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to all of our friends.

Gorgeous, luxurious retreat. This is not your grandma’s bed and breakfast. Every room is luxuriously appointed with private bathrooms, beautiful decor, luxury linens and more. The grounds take your breath away- simply beautiful views of the Coloma valley.

Booked two nights here. Called and spoke to an employee who confirmed I could bring a child. I went ahead and arranged my entire trip around this booking.

the next day a woman called saying it was her son that answered their business line and answered my questions despite not knowing anything about their business. She told me to cancel the booking. While i didn’t stay there, my limited experience with them ruined my trip.

We stayed 2 nights mid-week. The grounds and the exterior were in poor condition with overgrowth, abundant weeds, cobwebs, multiple tools laying about, and a poorly maintained pool. If accurate pictures were on the website, most people would be very reluctant to be guests.

The room pricing on the website was misleading, but after some time with the manager I understood pricing prior to booking. I was promised a small discount with a two night booking, but no discount was ever applied. The entire pricing scenario could possibly be considered outright misrepresentation.

The gourmet breakfast was anything but gourmet. No selections were offered even though we were the only guests.

The room was generally accurate to the website pictures and clean.

In general, the property was not fairly represented or priced. We will not be guests in the future. Management has not responded to my my email.

3 weeks later. Management did issue a $20 discount only after I complained.

Update---- You can see the management's response to my previous review. I hope the property has been brought to the condition as represented in the website photos; however the exterior condition of the property was not solely caused by recent rain, it was was disrepair and lack of maintenance. Nowhere was it listed that the midweek breakfast would be downgraded from gourmet to continental.

Everything about the Bella Vista B&B is beautiful and very well maintained. We stayed for 2 nights in a suite of rooms called "The Buena Vista Suite" which like the living room and dining room has a Victorian theme. The furnishings were well appointed and functional. Breakfast was healthy, filling, delicious. No complaints except possibly the very low toilet (I'm over 6 ft). Hostess very gracious, informative, and attentive. We have great memories to cherish from our stay at the Bella Vista. We would definitely return when our adventures take us back to the gold country.
