Nice! The staff, the large room, the most comfortable mattress, the cleanliness, the breakfast options were all perfect! The hotel is older, but it has nice updates and is maintained very well. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but it looked nice. If you enjoy cycling, the paved trail is directly in front of the hotel. There are unique local restaurants close by, too. This Best Western can train other hotels how to manage their hotel!

KEEP READING!!!! After booking at a "3 star" property through American Airlines, we found that is was less than a "1 star". The room smelled of cigarette smoke, mildew and marijuana. The entire 3rd floor reeked of pot. I was stressed out! We ended up getting a refund and called the Best Western in Wakulla and spoke to Aimee. She was very accommodating and got a room while we were in route from the other hotel in Tallahassee. The location is ideal for where we were going and better suited for our needs. The property is set with pine trees in the back and on one side. It was quiet and the room was spacious. Staff was A+. Breakfast was good, better than most continental breakfasts we've had. We will stay there again! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience.

Loved it. For the price, location, and the service it really fit the bill. The breakfast was great, I believe the lady's name was Glenda who was tending to everything but she was wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfy. Everyone seemed invested in a positive experience.

They charged (not just a pre-authorization) the full amount for the entire reservation to your credit card without any prior notice. The front desk cannot do the math when refunding you the original card and charge to another card. To make matters worse, a housekeeper walked into my room without any warning—completely unacceptable. In over 30 years of traveling across the country for business, this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like it. I even saw another review mentioning the same issue, so it doesn’t seem to be an isolated incident. The owners are from a different country where standards may be different, but if you're running a business here, it's important to understand and respect guests. I will NEVER stay here again.
