Teniendo en cuenta que está localizado en un sitio poco concurrido y que estuvo afectado por incendios atendiendo a las condiciones climatológicas, el precio fue un poco más elevado de lo que pensaba. My Mom and I just finished our stay here, and it was the best motel experience we've ever had.

The room was nice, affordable and clean, the motel was very quiet, but the service from the family who owns and runs it was what made it so great.

They are warm, kind and caring. They were also extremely accommodating and attentive to our needs, which is why it turned into an extended stay for us.

They made our journey that much easier, and we would highly recommend them.

The site is charming, surrounded by majestic trees. But on a cold and rainy winter night, with the parking area covered by leaves that held rainwater like a sponge, we were glad to get inside. The room was clean and warm and quaint and cozy, but that's about it. There were few outlets and not enough towels. No box of facial tissues. The WiFi did not work. The heater, while powerful, had no markings on the control knob, so keeping the temperature comfortable required trial and error.

One of our employees got stranded due to a recent snowstorm and had to get a room here. When I called in to pay for a 2nd night for him, the hosts were so kind and nice. They didn't give me any trouble and even refunded our room when he was able to get chains on his tires and hit the freeway home earlier than expected. We had already paid and they refunded our money. That is excellent service. Would recommend this cute place.

We met our son here for some hiking. He recommended this motel and I see why! It is run by a delightful family who were very welcoming and took the time to ask us what we were interested in doing while there. They made several recommendations for hikes, and places to eat depending on what we were looking for. They are currently updating the rooms. We had a room that was not updated yet but we found it clean, everything working and it had character. The parking was well lit and secure. We will definitely stay again.

Room was dated but clean. Good location and cheaper than staying in Shasta. Staff is friendly. Property is pretty outside. Bed was very hard and the carpet was pretty old and in need of deep clean or replacement. All the towels were stained but smelled clean. Wifi doesn't work well at all and there is minimal cell reception. My biggest complaint was that there is a very bright porch light outside the room that makes it near impossible for it to be dark in the room at night, it's like the sun never went down. Overall this hotel works for a night or two, but I probably won't go back unless they remodel.

We like the older family owned hotels like this. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. The rooms are basic but very clean.

When I arrived about eight guys were in the courtyard outside of the rooms, blasting music & drinking. I was a woman alone. I expressed my concerns -specifically about safety as the guys were getting drunk- to the owner. She said they were in town for a painting job and were nice guys. She also said their music would be off by 9 PM.

It’s 10:20 PM as I write this review. They are drunkenly yelling and blasting music. (And when I say blasting, mean Blasting.)

I’m thinking about grabbing my stuff and getting the heck out of here, except now I’m afraid to leave my room because it is dark and these guys are all over the courtyard which is right outside my room.

EDIT: 10:27, I called the owner. She said she would ask them to turn the music off. It was turned down for five minutes then back up. Called the owner again, she listened, then she hung up on me.

Forget this! I called 911 and told them I’m afraid to leave my room and go to my car, I ask for a squad card to come by to be a presence while I get out of here.
Police came. They ended up arresting at least one person.

The owner never called me to apologize or offer a refund for my loud, long, scary night.
I saw no reason to go to the office and speak to her, the lack of responsiveness said enough.
