Waking up to ants on the first night was pretty bad!! They moved me to a different room at least, for the second night. The staff told me "they usually instruct guests to put items in the fridge". I don't see how ants are the guest's problem. The ants were all over candy that I bought - sealed but the box the candy was in had openings on the side. It is difficult to see in the picture but the ants were all over the dresser. The second night in the new room had only 1-2 ants. The plumbing needs an overall gut job. The rooms appeared clean but upon walking around without shoes, my feet turned black! The bathrooms were very clean though. I probably won't stay here again because of the ant problem- apparently it has been an issue for awhile per reviews going back a few years from this review. The staff was friendly and got me setup in the new room fairly quickly. Location is fantastic. If you are a germaphobe like me, you may want to consider paying more for a nicer hotel. It was affordable during October and close to the ocean, which is why I picked it.

We stayed the week- this is our third visit. We love the location, love Stella (and the rest of the staff) and I spent time admiring how clean the staff keep the rooms AND the outdoor areas. We stay for the staff, the location, and the cleanliness. The manager is awesome, and as stated, it was a joy to get to know Stella. She clearly loves it here and it shows in her sweet disposition and outgoing personality. Thanks for another great stay, Charlroy!

I had most of my interactions with Stella, who is a sweetheart. She was professional, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay. I was able to check in early and was notified when my room was ready, which was about two hours earlier than expected.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the beach and boardwalk. They offer great amenities such as free parking, ice, coffee, and bagels. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, contrary to some other reviews I had read. Additionally, I had no trouble getting my towels swapped for clean ones.

Every morning, I enjoyed watching the staff clean the pool and pool area while I sipped my coffee. This is a family-friendly hotel, so you will see a lot of kids around, but I had no problem with that.

However, if you’re young and looking to party, this might not be the right hotel for you. I came to relax at the beach, and this hotel perfectly suited my needs. I hope to be back in August.

The location is great, the place is ok. The pool was empty, not sure if they are remodeling or not. The view made it worth the stay.

The main appeal of this motel is its location. It's directly across the street from the beach and about 100 yards from the main part of the boardwalk where you will find restaurants, shops, the rides, etc. They offer free parking, a pool and bagels/coffee each morning. Everyone that worked there was really friendly and helpful. They offer different categories of rooms but our particular room was quite small and the bathroom was even smaller. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Seaside!

We arrived early and pre- checked in around 1 pm. Stella was very friendly and professional and told us she would text us when room was ready.30 minutes later our room was ready. It is a big plus for us to get in room early and then go to beach.| We had a family room with a private balcony and we spent a lot of time on the balcony,early morning Bloody Mary’s along with complementary bagels from the hotel, pre- boardwalk nights having beers before going to boardwalk. | Hotel is clean and our room was great. We already booked next year with Diane before we checked out.and she is so friendly and accommodating. Next year will be our 3rd year staying here and we are looking forward to it.| The hotel is right across the street from the beach which is great, you can be on the beach in 3 minutes. The hotel offers free beach badges with a 70.00 deposit for each badge which you get back when you turn them in. It is also only like a block and a half to the boardwalk, location is great.

Took a girls' trip for 4 days. The room was nice, large, and well decorated. Had two queen beds, pretty comfortable. The bathroom was clean. But floor in room seemed dirty and not from us. Barefeet were very dirty from walking around room. Had a room with a view of the ocean but never kept the curtains open due to foot traffic of hotel . Would have liked to try the pool, but lots of kids each day.
Location was great just across the road from the ocean. Easy walk to the boardwalk.
Customer service was good. Coffee bar was well stocked.
I would stay again. It was very quiet at night. Not in a busy area.
