The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very pleasant to stay in. They are also well-kept and provide a good level of comfort. Despite the nearby traffic, the rooms are reasonably quiet, which is a plus.

As for the staff, I would describe them as neutral—not in a negative way, just a neutral presence.

The gym is large and well-equipped, making it great for a workout.

Regarding the restaurant, the staff has always been kind and attentive, ensuring that every request is well taken care of.

Now, onto the major drawbacks:
• Breakfast is not included in the room price. (You can add it anyway) I think through the app or there.

• The cost of breakfast is quite high—I spent over $19-$20 for (in my opinion) a minimal breakfast.
If you want to add bottled juice or water, you have to pay extra.
In some hotels, you get a full buffet for the same price.

• The price of additional ingredients is excessive. For example, one (1) single slice of bacon they ask costs for $5.

I had an incredible stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Modesto, and it all started with Lucia at the front desk! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with the most energetic, positive attitude—her smile was absolutely contagious! She truly made me feel welcomed and excited to be there. The service was top-notch from start to finish, and the hotel itself exceeded all my expectations. The property was spotless, and my room was immaculate, with a beautiful view that I wasn’t expecting at all. I’ve stayed in many places, but Lucia’s warmth and professionalism made this experience stand out. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re in the area!

Excellent service. Clean hotel. Great location. Decent price. The food and staff was great too! I wish the close parking was not reserved for the electric cars, and I wish the laundry was available at the time of my stay, but I still rate this place 5 stars! I would definitely stay here again if I return to Modesto.

I can’t say enough great things about the exceptional staff at the North Shore Courtyard Marriott! Zion, Seini, and Clo made our stay truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and their warm hospitality made us feel right at home.

Zion’s attention to detail was incredible, and Seini’s friendly attitude brightened our day. Clo was always on point, providing fantastic service and making sure we were well taken care of.

Apologies for taking so long to write this review—it’s overdue for the remarkable experience you all gave us. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow, just wow. We're traveling out of state on vacation to visit family in the area, and we could not have picked a better hotel. The staff are friendly kind and informative. We frequently tend to stay with the Marriott chain. We love the affordability and luxury they offer. This hotel specifically is by far the best we have stayed in. Usually, I wait till the end of my stay to place reviews, but the service and amenities like having Starbucks in the hotel lobby made me run to Google to rave how amazing this place is. This stay has officially raised the bar for all my other future hotel stays. PERFECTION! 10/10 Recommend!
