Just tried #3, and adorable attic style huge unit with a round bed&mirrors on the ceiling where you can holla till your throats sore cos nobody hears you . Left with a sore throat.

I really like the staff and customer service. I really like the jacuzzi. I really believe that the Gables Motel has some major potential. They should invest in ripping out the carpet in theit wet rooms. If the interior cosmetic designed matched their customer srrvice they'd get 10 stars from me.

My husband pointed this place out based on their website photos showing a tub right in the room. If I could give 0 stars I would! At the nightly rate we were charged you'd of thought it was an ALL inclusive 5 star place. But thinking that a nice jetted tub was awaiting me helped ease the thought- until we walked though the door! I couldn't bring myself to even set my purse down, let alone sit. Not only did it NOT have a jetted tub but it didn't have a tub at ALL! After returning to the office I'm told there's ONLY ONE room like that and it's only available if the reservations are for more then one night. NEVER AGAIN!

If I could give them a ZERO I would. I called to book a room and was initially hung up on multiple times. I called back again, because (a) I needed a room in that specific area, and (b) I have heard they were a nice motel. When I finally got someone to stay on the line with me, she advised me that they DO NOT RESERVE ROOMS.... I thought I must have been misunderstanding her. I asked for confirmation, she did. How does a hotel not reserve rooms? She said it is all first come first serve. So there is no way to KNOW if I am going to have a room when I come to town? Kind of crazy if you ask me, but it's their business I guess... anyway, that was her abrupt and careless answer, then she quickly hung up on me (again).

Needless to say, I guess I will not be using their business anytime... talk about the opposite of customer care!

It isn't terrible for what it is, not great either. That being said, maintenance is done poorly at best, and the maids obviously don't know what clean is. Plus only one device per room can be connected to the wifi.

I was very impressed especially for the price. We were only in town one night and didn't really care where we stayed. We had a room with a very nice fully equipped kitchen and beautifully remodeled bathroom! Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean. I would definitely stay there again!

The room was incredibly small & dreary. No free wifi or non-smoking rms. No cable, yes porno. Bed was clean, bathroom grimy. Not many businesses in the area. Dollar Store. 1 Mid price Restaurant. Owners nice enough - casual. "Massage Parlor" across the street just got closed down. Most guests were plumbers/ carpenters.
