Hotel muy conveniente a menos de una milla del aeropuerto de Arcata/Eureka. Hotel moderno, muy limpio, habitaciones amplias y cómodas. TV, horno de microondas, refrigerador y cafetera en tu habitación. El hotel cuenta con alberca bajo techo con su Jacuzzi y un pequeño gimnasio para ejercitarse. ||En el desayuno el cual está incluido con tu hospedaje puedes disfrutas desde huevos revueltos, con salchichas de pavo o de puerco y ocasionalmente colocan tocino, esto además de los clásicos hot cakes, cereales, fruta, yogurts, pan dulce, avena, leche, café y jugos. ||Recomiendo este hotel ampliamente para visitas de negocios o con la familia. Muy cerca de áreas de interés para conocer. Si tuviera la necesidad de regresar a Arcata, sin duda elegiría este lugar nuevamente.

Buen hotel, muy cerca del mar y demasiado del aeropuerto, pero su servicio es bueno a grandes terminos y el lugar es hermoso.

Fácil para llegar y relajar. Acesso a un alberca para disfrutar. Unos minutos de la universidad Humboldt. Convinente y limpio, que más se puede pedir.

I chose this hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport as I would need a shuttle when leaving. The staff was was very friendly and efficient throughout my three days there, regardless of shift or who was working. Day or night. I had a minor issue with my keycard assignment at check-in, but it was attended to promptly and very courteously. Summerthyme was great! The room was clean and quiet, and I was able to get great sleep both nights that I stayed there. I felt safe with my vehicle on the property as I'd heard that it could be broken into staying in any of the towns nearby, which is why I chose this hotel. Breakfast options were great and they changed it up each day for variety, still having great options. The young man in charge of the breakfast both days did a great job managing the area and made some of the best bacon I've had! The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to (unlike some hotels), and the TV was easy to cast to with my phone for streaming. Wi-Fi speed seemed great and I had no issues during my stay. All in all, a great, relaxing stay.
I've had to travel to Humboldt a few times and this will always be my go-to place to stay for safety, location and great service!

Check in is easy peasy. Very friendly and professional staff. Entry area and 'quad' are nicely decorated and spacious. Rooms are comfortably large and clean and very quiet. very secure access to hotel at all times, unless you're coming in the front door you do need your key to gain entry. Plenty of parking. Even though it is next to the airport, you cannot tell by listening when inside. Breakfast choices are pretty varied with hot food and cold cereal and the link. Pancake maker (I personally prefer the waffle makers) but pancake maker is much cleaner and efficient. Nice selection of hot foods that were kept well stocked. Area kept clean by attendant. Will stay again when price is right (it can be a little pricey).

My adult son with Down syndrome and his best friend get together several times a year and we always stay at the HI Express Arcata. We love the location, just a mile from beautiful Clam Beach, the beautiful surrounding area, the pool and jacuzzi, and the breakfast. We get adjoining rooms or rooms that are close together. The young men enjoy knowing the layout, where to get their cokes, and the friendly staff who oftentimes remember them. I love the very comfortable bed, the beautiful lighting, and the shower with great water pressure. We love it here!

I travel 25K miles a year and 6 nights a month at a hotel. The Holiday Inn in Arcata California near the Airport is my favorite place to stay on the West Coast. The front desk ladies (especially Vanisty, Olivia, & Bonnie) are terrific, and they greet you with warm smiles. Rooms are clean & comfortable and very spacious. Very competitive rates. The Hotel setting near the ocean is very peaceful. Breakfast in the mornings is the best. Overall I would rate this hotel a solid ten.

I stayed after a return from a business trip and it was a quick shuttle from airport. All the staff was friendly and cheerful. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had a good breakfast with a variety of options, which would also be suitable for my family with children. I would recommend tis hotel to road or airport travelers. There are plenty of safe walking areas around the hotel, although I was told to watch for foxes and skunks at night. Overall a great experience.
