Very nice hotel with great rates. Excellent service. Room came with refrigerator and microwave. The one thing that could make the stay even better is a coffee maker in the room, but coffee is available in the office. Very clean room. Staff helpful.

There is poor ventilation in ALL the rooms so expect condensation like crazy. I was charged a smoking fee after reporting at check in that the room smelled like smoke. 2 days later I reported the smoke smell again( yes it smelled like smoke the whole time) and I was wrongfully blamed and charged for it. I do not smoke, never have. The older Caucasian woman told my friend she knew him (it was his first time at the hotel. He just moved back from GA. Apparently all colored men look the same from her prospective.) Meanwhile a WHOLE drug gang lives in the hotel on the lower floor and staff is well aware of it. They only make you pay a deposit if they feel like you're an "undesirable". Very prejudice.

Very disappointed. The staff here is extremely discriminatory. They have treated us like third world citizens since we checked in. They refused to allow us to have a service animal which is an emotional support animal which their website clearly states is allowed. In addition other people have had animals there including cats that are not service animals or esa's. They won't let us purchase drinks from the front desk without a $5 minimum. They have been extremely rude to me and my two roommates. They won't tell us the weekly rate until our due date. Extremely unprofessional and they whispered something to each other behind the front desk when we tried to ask them questions. I'm considering legal action for discrimination based on disabilities of myself and my husband on the basis of our emotional support animal and the fact that we are an LGBT couple. This is by far the absolute worst experience at a hotel that I've ever had and I have already contacted corporate.

My room was very clean. I was here in October so there were not a lot of people staying here. I stayed for a week and didn't haveany issues. I was told that the room would not be serviced all week (I preferred it that way). They did come in half way through, and I got new towels and straightened up the room. It is not perfect but for a budget friendly place it is a great value overall . I would recommend to family and friends. The internet is awesome. 160 mbps down. Great for business !!

My experience at Hometowne studio has been nothing but wonderful! The staff is super accommodating and kind. Room service is impeccable! I will definitely be coming back to stay here I loved it!!!

Where to start? Let's start with the room. Mostly all right. However, the floor will turn your feet black if you walk around without shoes or socks on. The bathroom mirror is kind of wonky as it doesn't begin until the middle of the sink. This makes for doing anything at the sink that you want to use a mirror while doing it, extremely difficult, as you have to lean to the side to use the mirror. The shower is huge, however, there is no towel bar within five feet of exiting the shower. This means that either your clean towel has to go on the floor or you have to make your way to the towel bar while you are wet from the shower.

The service was terrible as one person in particular has an attitude and is a liar. I stayed here a few weeks ago for five nights and no service was given to the room. That was fine, as I was told that my room wouldn't be cleaned and I did not want my room cleaned during my stay. Fast forward to this stay and all of a sudden my room is cleaned after the second night. When I asked why they cleaned it this stay and not the last stay, the older lady at the office told me that it is Red Roof Inn Corporate policy to clean the rooms after the second night. OK, which one is it, did they go against the policy last time that I stayed here or was she lying to me about it this time? It has to be one or the other.

I also brought up to the same person that the description of the hotel says the room is EQUIPPED with, and FEATURES a stove top. However, there are no stove tops in any of the rooms. When I asked about this, she told me that there are hot plates that you can rent or buy during your stay. That is not EQUIPPED. Equipped means that it is included for no cost. This is blatant false advertising.

The third time will not be the charm for me, as I will not be staying here again, mostly because of the attitudes of the staff.

In the reply, the owner states that they don't advertise a stove top as an amenity in any room. The hotel page on the Red Roof web site states differently: Each room features a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, stove top, and dining area, making meal prep a breeze.

Excellent experience and clean upgraded, yes upgraded, rooms!!! This place came a long way from what it was years ago. I highly recommend this spot. The price, you will be pleasantly surprised what you receive in your room for that price.

Very impressive for a budget motel. Our room was clearly newly equipped and refurbished, with a large refrigerator and microwave. What pleased us most was the number of power and USB sockets around the room, it’s the first place we’ve stayed in on our USA tour that has sockets and light switches in the right places!

The walk-in shower worked fine, there were plenty of towels and gel dispensers, the bedsheets were spotless and the room is surprisingly large.

The WiFi is powerful and the check-in was friendly and efficient.

The location suited us fine, it’s just off the Garden State Parkway and there’s a Walmart and other stores just down the road. Note that it’s on a dual carriageway with a central divider, so if you arrive on the wrong side you’ll have to go past then find a junction and turn back.

If you’re on a motorcycle, as we were, watch out for the edge as you turn from the road into the car park, it’s higher than it needs to be, and if you hit it at the wrong angle could catch you out. But that’s a very minor criticism, otherwise the place is fine and good value.
