Cozy and love the tissue folding designs in the toilet. Room and linens are clean. I especially love the air-conditioning system that doesn’t constantly blows off cold air that would make the room too cold; it was able to maintain the room in a cool comfortable environment by it’s intermittent blowing of air.

The receptionist JD is friendly and makes you feel welcome, has a warm smile.

Gute Einkaufmöglichkeiten, aber in der Supermarkt akzeptieren sie keine Kreditkarte.Ich habe keine seife im Bad gefunden. Zimmerausstattung war gut, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Bügeleisen ...
Das Früstücksraum war nicht einladend und warm.

I recently stayed at the Modesto Hotel and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel also offers a great breakfast selection that was both delicious and varied. Their waffle maker is GOATED! The location is convenient, with easy access to local amenities and restaurants. Overall, I highly recommend the Modesto Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Don't be fooled by the fancy "Ascend Hotel Collection" branding by Choice Hotels. La Casa Modesto is on par with their "Quality Inn" brand; which is to say, it's on the low end of the quality scale.||The King Bed room I was given, had extremely poor lighting (one dim lamp), no hangers, and a stale smell. The hotel itself is poorly designed, resembling a building that was once a small town convention center.||Lastly, the business practices of this hotel leaves much to be desired charging a $100 "deposit" which, unlike other hotel deposits, actually gets charged to your credit card, which then takes 10 days to clear. ||Shame on Choice Hotels for its equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig.

We had the best experience here and the service from the front tenant J.D. was the best I've had in years and I'm a traveler up and down the coastline of California. I would highly prefer and recommend this LA Casa in Modesto,Ca. The price for what they offer in the rooms is the best part of staying here at this hotel. Where else can you pay $138.00 and get the King Suite with a Jacuzzi and a big size bed and a kitchen area. Definitely coming here again!!

Alright so here’s the deal..this place isn’t what I would call “nasty” but maybe a bit sketch. It’s not so much dirty as it is dated (we did not see bugs or anything like that). The room we were in was definitely not remodeled, neither were the hallways. There is no elevator which is odd. The staff are super nice and the guy who checked us in had a sense of humor. The breakfast was good and the location is great, it’s close to many stores and restaurants.

The thing that makes it sketch are the people who LIVE at this place. This hotel housed homeless during covid so it’s possible the residents here are left over from that..I wouldn’t mind except for the fact that they are just sitting everywhere staring you down. Sitting in the hallways, sitting on the stairs, sitting in the parking lot with their vehicles running all day drinking beer. We didn’t have any unpleasant interactions but it doesn’t exactly scream “comfort”. Would I stay here again for multiple nights? I don’t think so. But if you need a spot overnight it’s fine. I’ve stayed at worse.
