Came out here TAD and my stay couldn’t have been worse. There were hundreds of beetles/cockroach looking things everywhere. The AC was working at maybe 50% capacity, honestly looked like blood stains behind the end table, holes in the wall. Room temp was never below 78-80 degrees during the hottest week of the summer so far. The staff are nice but not even sure these buildings are up to code. There is a wide open door around the corner with a huge drop off which is a major accident waiting to happen. I wouldn’t recommend any command letting their Sailors stay here for any amount of time. I will be letting our command know immediately so we don’t let our junior sailors live in conditions like this. Unacceptable. I wish I would have taken more pix but this is just some of it. There were hundreds of those little bugs everywhere jumping on my in my sleep. I was startled awake several times with them flying on my face or in my nose. Highly recommend some sort of inspection be done because this can’t be okay to let active duty military members stay here. I’ve been in field conditions better than the room I’m in. On my last night I ended up just sleeping in my car with the AC on bc it was cooler than the room and there were no bugs to battle. Also every time I ran the shower the bathroom smelled like urine for a at least 20 minutes. I checked out early and plan to commute from San Diego for the duration of my TAD orders if necessary as this is just unacceptable.

Bugs EVERYWHERE. Tried 3 different rooms in 3 different buildings. All of them had beetles and roaches. They were even in the sheets. I won’t be coming back.

Great spot! Clean rooms. However beyond their control.. crickets are everywhere... Understand they may come in your room but their music put me to sleep.. 😂. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend

It has been a few years since we stayed, but we have been there about 15 times and every time was a good one. Facilities were nice and the price was great. Like the security of a military base while travelling. The club has good food at very fair prices. Will stay again when we get a chance.

The worst place I’ve ever had to stay in. Card keys don’t work and have had to keep my door open with a sock. If possible stay away from this place

No air conditioning, lots of bugs in the room and the blinds don't block any of the sunlight or blinding flood light outside each room.
