I give North Park 5 stars, not because of the apartments and amenities (which still need a lot of work to improve), but because of the people who work here. The cleaning team, in particular, has been doing an amazing job this year. I have never seen the building and garage this clean, at least not in the building where I live.
My main issue with North Park has always been the mold and cockroaches. I moved into a remodeled apartment, and the mold problem has improved, but that's because I keep my dehumidifier on all day and night. That’s the only way I’ve found to manage the mold issue.
Overall, it's good living here. I believe they are working to improve the place. However, they still need to focus on improving security cameras and the package room and the pool area.
I would like to thank the technician team—Fermin, Joel, and Roger—Sean for always being helpful when I need assistance.
I hope North Park continues to improve and becomes a better place to live. I also hope the rent and utility prices become more reasonable, as the current utility charges are my main concern.

My wife and I had a great experience touring NorthPark and moving in thanks to our leasing agent Vincent.

Vincent’s attention to detail and intentionality in helping us find the right apartment and navigate move-in logistics was a big help. We are still new to the community and hopeful it will be a good fit for us.

A couple notes: The leasing office and common area are fully closed Sunday and Monday. All the doors naturally slam shut here so that can be loud and carry vibrations if neighbors don’t close doors softly.

I really don’t recommend anyone move to NorthPark.
I have problems since my move in date.
On my first day I had problems with the apartament key (I booked the key pick-up on the day of my move and the office was closed, so I had to call maintenance so then someone could pick it up. That took more than an hour!)

The place is usually dirty, sometimes the common areas smell cigarettes and I've even found bits of food thrown at my car window (yes, I know this problem is about the people who live there and not just the building, but it's a relevant warning for anyone thinking about moving there).
When you have a problem, the office takes a long time to answer your emails or solve the problem. Oh, and I forgot to mention... Sometimes you won't even get an answer and when they respond your email it will be with a poor explanation or solution for your problem.

After a year I decided to stay there because of the location and because they were renovating the apartments, so I decided to continue and transfer to a renovated apartment.

TRUST ME... It was one of the worst “relocation” experiences I've ever had! Even if you ask, they come up with a lot of EXTRA COSTS (Even at a time when I had a terrible credit score in my life, I didn't have to pay so much to live in such a bad place). I moved into an apartment that was dirty and had some things broken, like the dryer, my closet door (making it clear that there was no cleaning or inspection before moving in and they also charged me $200 for “cleaning”) and there is a POOR HEATER! The apartment is extremely cold (It's extremely hot in the summer, but there's only a fan in the dining room and no ac) and the heater doesn't even heat one step beyond where it is. It just wastes energy and doesn't heat anything. I asked for it to be fixed it took about a month and multiple emails to someone fix my dryer and washer. And about the heater, my case was simply closed and no one came to look at it and check if there was a problem, in other words, it really is a poor and cheap heater that doesn't heat anything!
They'll always charge you quickly if there's something outstanding to pay, but they don't deliver on the service you're paying for either.
Oh, also every week they turn off the water and for an extra: there is an extremely absurd construction noise that starts at 8am every week day!

If I had to give a compliment, I would just mention John and Cassandra! Two employees who were extremely polite and attentive to me every time my emails reached them. They were the only ones who made some effort to help me solve a problem (but sadly your email won't always just reach them or you'll get to the office and find them).

If you don't want any more stress, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and don't move to there!

Run run run! This place is nothing but a SCAM. Not only will you have to deal with the smell of weed all day long but ROACHES come out from time to time as well. After we finally moved away from this dump they are now charging us two grand in fees! Horrible! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!

Joel Marquez ( Tigre) and Rogger Romero were great repairing my washer that was broken. They were fast and knew exactly what they were doing. I recommend their services

3 months in and unfortunately stuck in a lease. The inside looks like an old hotel. Very old water pipes. They shut water off EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. Sometimes multiple times a week. Causing utility bills to be outlandish. This month my utilities were $3-400 and i live alone with no AC no heating ir any extra energy usage. They are constantly renovating apartments so there has been LOUD construction noise EVERY WEEK DAY for the ENTIRE 3 months ive been here. They bait with one rent price but will increase it when u sign the lease. Mine was increased by $105 monthly. The mailroom is shared by all 9 or 10 buildings so ur packages are never secure. Its extremely easy to be locked out of the building. I HIGHLY recommend finding a better place to live. This place is so expensive and is only renovated on a superficial level.
