Haven’t stayed here in many years, but used to stay here yearly. It wasn’t the most glorious place to stay, but it was definitely worth the value! You got more room than you really paid for.

The family that ran (still runs?) the place were great too. The grounds are well taken care of, and the private beach is a great quiet place. Wake up early, grab some coffee and walk the beach!

I only got to eat at the Thai restaurant once, but thought it was pretty good! To be honest, I didn’t know anything about Thai food back then… but! The food that I did get was good!

Look forward to one day staying here again, this time with my family.

Simple, nice, and cozy hotel! We were greeted kindly by the woman at reception upon check in and felt very welcomed. The rooms were clean and included a microwave and fridge, which is always nice. Private beach on the property was beautiful as well, would love to come check it out in the summer months. Only downfall was the lack of cell reception around here (even Verizon) but Wifi at the hotel worked just fine. Also can't beat the shoulder season prices!

My wife and I LOVED the Pine Beach Inn & Suites. It was late at night and we were trying to find a place to stay as we were driving the coast. I called the owner and spoke with her for about twenty minutes as I tried to figure out if it was worth staying at a place not so well known. She was very low pressure, she said to just come and see. She would let us look before committing. She assured us the rooms were not new but comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. She gave us an ocean view room. The room was big and clean. She was right, not the most fancy, but very comfortable. And the best part was it was quiet, even though it was right off the main road. A five minute walk to a private beach, another 10 minute walk to some cliffs where we found tide pools and didn't have to compete with other tourists. We absolutely loved it and will recommend this place to friends and family. We would love to return for a family reunion as the place is well suited for such an event.

Everything is loud and nothing works. Phone dead, no signal to the TV, people walking around upstairs sounds like a cage match, even just the sound of the water in the pipes when the upstairs guests take a shower is crazy loud. WiFi has good signal but it's super slow. Toilet doesn't flush properly unless you hold the handle, and shower is slow to drain and has mold all around the top edge of the tub surround. Ocean view apparently means you can just barely see it if you stand at the sliding glass door. I wanted to like this place because it wasn't right on the highway or right in town and I thought it would be quiet, but that was before it turned out to be the loudest place ever. Might be a cool place to party with a group, but it's not any good for sleeping. Beds are fairly comfortable, but that's about the only good thing I can say. Don't stay on the ground floor of the "ocean view" rooms.

Pleasently surprised. I paid a little more for a room with a view, and it was worth it! You can see a little, secluded beach from the balcony, and listen to the sound of the ocean while falling asleep.

The room was a little outdated, but clean, and very spacious. Other reviews mentioned smell, I did not have any problem with that.

Tips: bring your own coffee and filters (none offered), a scented candle if you like, and enjoy!!

Great access to the ocean and private beach. Rooms are nice but some small repairs need to be made. Loose tile in the tub, sink not draining well, no housekeeping on Wednesday. Maybe Tuesday also since the bathroom floor didn't looked clean when we checked in. They did give us new towels when we asked. We've stayed here before and didn't have any problems.
