The staff was great. Linda on the morning shift was so much help. There was a little issue with the hot water but the maintenance man was there in minutes and it was solved in a matter of 5 minutes

I like the rustic, historic nature of the Ranchito Motel. The grounds are very pretty and the rooms are cozy. The heaters work great and are super quiet. The motel is also in a convenient location. I loved staying there with my family. It kind of felt like home for our short visit.

I would like to give this hotel a better review because the people were so incredibly friendly and the price was reasonable. The grounds were very nice, the room was spacious and clean. However, the walls were so thin that we could hear EVERY noise the couple next door were making. Every cough, sneeze and every word of every conversation! There was no bath tub and the shower head was too low for anyone over 5 foot 10. I would stay here again in a pinch but will try somewhere else next time.

Diamond in the rough! Owner is absolutely fantastic. This stay is the perfect location for a mountain living getaway, walking distance to the Plumas County Fair, stores and smack dab in the middle of God's country, embraced by the wonderful scent and scenery of the surrounding abundance of majestic mountains and beautiful pine trees.
The room was warm and cozy, and the individual character of rare furnishings, along with modern amenities, was the perfect combination for a place to lift up your feet and relax. We call this our favorite! The receptionist was also outstanding in her welcoming and her hospitality.

My room was not very clean, the refrigerator and the lamps were not working properly, kept turning off during our 2 day stay and the shower, although good size, had a very dangerous and slippery shower floor! I took a nasty fall in the shower the last morning we were there. Fortunately, was only bruised badly. Could have been much more serious! I still haven’t received a call back from the Motel owner after leaving a message with the staff to do so! Very poor experience! Will never stay at this motel ever again !!!

Really nice people own it. Rooms clean and interesting. I stayed in an older, historic room. Loved being in the trees and the water running through the property was so neat! Nice to have WiFi and dish but if you want to unplug, this is a nice place for that. Will stay again. Quincy is a nice town with so great food and things to do in any direction.

Clean and classic. Friendly staff, generally quiet. Wi-Fi was a bit slow. Close to grocery, laundromat, and bus stop into downtown, which is great for Pacific Crest Trail hikers.
