No es de lujo el lugar , pero no está tan mal , lo único que no me gustó es que al entrar de mi cuarto avía muchas plantas , me imagino que eran de una de las personas que se estan quedando allí , pero era un poco incómodo aparte de que no le da una buena presentación al hotel , otra cosa es que la misma persona tenía camas de gatos fuera de su avitacion, y también se ve un poco mal , se que hay alguna gente que le gustan pero en lo personal a mí no y me parecía incómodo , las camas tenían muchos pelos de gato o de perro no se y es asqueroso para mí , no avía teléfono en la avitacion , y el precio me pareció un poco caro 150 creo que no era muy buen lugar , cómo para cobrar eso por esa cantidad hubiera pagado uno con mejor calidad ... Pero el personal del hotel o dueños de eso no me puedo quejar son muy amables ...

Right in downtown Oxnard. I wasn't expecting much just due to outward appearance, but I must say, the woman who runs the place is fantastic. Very accommodating and works hard to keep the place screened for trouble.makers and takes care of things ASAP. Love the security of the cameras all over the exterior. The rooms are old and could use updating but having her there made our stay feel safe and secured. Grateful for the time we spent and for Sharon working as hard as she does.

The female manager does a good job trying to keep the motel safe and that rules are followed . Plus screen potential troublemakers away. I know you aren't supposed to judge people without knowing them. But I can understand why management has to screen new guests carefully drawing on past experiences as well in order to have a pleasant running establishment or guests will take over the place and have havoc everywhere. The rooms were acceptable, although a bit more cleaning detail to dust collected on vanity light fixtures and a few cobwebs to sweep away would be nice. Yet the others areas were clean. Overall it was acceptable for the amount charged. I wasnt expecting Sheraton Hotel accommodations and amenities. I like that cameras are everywhere on the exterior , in the parking lot etc. I trust they are being monitored. So if guest's are following their rental agreement then that should add more of a sense of safely and you will be called out if you are in violation of your agreement or causing any kind of disturbance to others . I would stay here again if necessary if in need of a place to stay safely .

I wasn't sure about this place after reading some of the reviews, but since the majority of bad reviews were written by people who never even stayed here I figured I'd take my chances on my way up north. A woman helped me rent the room, and she had a great sense of humor. Had me laughing quite a lot. The room was really nice. It looked updated and modern and was better than some other places I've stayed. There was a microwave, fridge, and a small table with chairs. I needed a little later check-out, and the older gentlemen told me that was fine. I will stay here again for sure.

I don't like older places and I'm so picky that my husband had a hard time to get me out of the car when he brought me to the Regal Lodge. I reluctantly agreed to get the room, but I left my bags in the car until I could inspect the room. I went in and the fist impression was that I liked the room, windows with min blinds, and the room was nicely decorated. Still, I had my doubts. I checked to make sure it was clean, I checked the bathroom, the bed, under the bed, and the floors for cleanliness. No problems. The towels were bigger and better than expected. the sheets were clean, clean microwave, clean toilet, sink and tub. My husband pointed out the tall mini fridge that looks like new, and the large TV screen mounted on the wall, and that we can save money while going house hunting for a few days. I had to admit it was above my expectations. On Saturday night we were happy it was relatively quiet, we had to get up early to go to church and then go see houses for sale. I thanked our real estate agent for recommending the Regal Lodge. We bought a house but will recommend others to stay at the Regal.
