I've lived at these apartments since 2016. Until about 2019 these apartments were as advertised. There were community events, the neighbors were friendly, and if you had a problem generally Ernest Haley would solve it easily. However, once 2020 came everything changed. Maria Crespo came in around that time and proceeded to run this apartment complex to the ground. She didn't know how to do her job. She didn't know about multiple aspects of the lease she was supposed to enforce, repeatedly contradicted herself, and lied frequently to the tenants. She wouldn't resolve problems with tenants either and she believed hearsay as fact. It took her a year and a half to resolve a big roach problem we had on the complex and she apparently doesn't know that bath tubs need reglazing.

As of now, November 2024, someone else finally took over for her incompetence, but the apartment complex is the worst its ever been. People smoke on the complex when on the lease this is supposed to be a smoke free environment. People openly drink on the complex, as noted by the numerous instances you'll see a beer can or bottle pack thrown in the bushes, when its also prohibited. Children use the whole apartment complex as their playground and aren't merely "playing", they are loud, disrespectful, ignorant, and the parents hardly do anything to reign in their children as most of those parents have the same attitude as their kids. On the lease it says the kids are supposed to mind the quiet enjoyment of the neighbors, not ride wheeled apparatuses, and get approval of sports equipment they use. All which they don't do. You'll hear the loud kicks of soccer balls, multiple kids playing football loudly, the clanks of scooters/bicycles being ridden everywhere on the complex, and the loud screams and shrieks of children thinking the whole complex is a great way to play hide and seek or tag. Also don't personally try to resolve these issues with the children or parents or else they will mock and harass you and, as Maria Crespo said, the apartments can't do anything about that (even though harrassment is prohibited on the lease too). Tenants also don't pick up after their dogs poop, which, you guessed it, is on the lease. Heck tenants can leave their dogs unattended in their apartments and they can bark like crazy. Lastly, there is ironically supposed to be quiet hours from 10a-8p and there are tenants that don't even follow that. So good luck getting a good nights sleep sometimes, especially if there is a holiday or a celebration of some sort on the complex.

Another point, if you complain too much about the problems on the complex you can potentially get a 3 day covenant or quit (a polite wording for a potential eviction notice). That is what Maria Crespo gave to my family because she didn't believe that the problems happened this often (pretty much 3-5 times a week at the least) and we were harassing her.

I should note too, I lost my Mom to colorectal cancer this past January and I am going through indefinite pancreatic cancer treatment. You'd think the apartment complex would have a heart, but they don't.

So for prospective tenants, I'd come by on a weekend later in the day. Come by multiple times. Judge for yourself if you can tolerate the antics of these tenants. Because I wouldn't recommend these apartments until the problems are taken care of, or at this point if they will ever be.

The apartments use to be great! The previous apartment manger Ernest use to be very kind, welcoming and always cared for his tenants hosting cook outs and fun activities for the kids. Unfortunately we now have Maria Crespo the new manger and she is anything but welcoming. She is cold and rude. She does nothing to bring us together as a community. She lets people drink, smoke and play music all night long in the parking lot but has a problem with kids playing around the complex. She does nothing to fix anything broken or damaged. You can report something that needs fixing and it takes weeks to get them to even look at it and consider repairs. Had mold in my apartment in the restroom walls under the sink, closets and hallways and she came to inspect twice and took notes and never did anything to fix it. Sink has been broken for months told her several times no repairs. She needs to be trained on manners and basic human decency! She has no feelings and neither does this company. These apartments need to be inspected by the health department asap! I hope the main office sees she is not the right fit and I hope she gets her karma for all she has done and keeps doing to bring down theses apartments and the families here.

Do not apply unless if you have like 5 months to wait. Poor professionalism from this company and management. We waited over 55 business days to have our background cleared. To this day our backgrounds are still not cleared. We applied to different places and got answers within a week. Horrible management and a horrible company. Do not apply. You'll be stuck waiting.

I applied, communication was atrocious. They took my 200 dollar application fee and then said I couldn’t claim it back because i took to request for a refund. When it took them 3 days to return my
Money. Maria is the absolute worst Please stay away from here if you’re looking for a new place to live, they will take your money and pin it on you. I tried being cordial and civil with them, I am now seeking legal council

This used to be a nice place to live until they stopped taking care of the buildings. Roaches, trash, drugs, untreated mold, dirty laundry rooms---the list goes on and on. Management harasses tenants and constantly want to insoect units but never fix anything. And apparently they rent to anyone now. Don't rent here---You have been warned!

The reign of terror has begun. The new community manager Maria has begun with a series of letters in attempts to collect money from long term existing residents. If you are looking for an apt stay away from this place!
