Room is overall nice if the only thing you want to do is sleep in it and shower, my phones data cuts off as soon as I walk into the room and the free wifi barely works. Room is entirely too expensive and I definitely recommend camping in the forest at least you get service, the continental breakfast doesn't really make up for the overall lackluster stay.

Spent two nights in Room 14 over October 14-15. For $130 per night, you’d expect a lot more. The room condition was beat and tired and should be gutted and remodeled. The cable wire hanging loosely from the ceiling, the window drapes dragging on the floor, the leaky sink, the exposed bathroom light bulbs (no shade), and the dark, cheap wood paneling all yelled “please update me!” The public hair behind the faucet left by the previous guest on the sink didn’t help. The TV remote didn’t fully work so exchanged it and the replacement didn’t work. On the plus side, the heat/AC unit worked fine, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the bed was fairly comfortable with absolutely no sign/evidence of bedbugs! A good thing for sure.

Let's be honest. It is a 1950's motel that is stuck in the 1950's. Room is dark. Walls are paper thin. Yes, I could easily hear the couple's conversation in the next room. Thank goodness they weren't really loud. The mattress is old, yet surprisingly comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. Too bad the nozzle was only neck high (I'm 5'11"). Poor caulking job in the shower. This room could easily use a $1k makeover. But you don't have a lot of options in Quincy. So it is what it is.

I've stayed in most of the hotels in Quincy over the years. This is by far the cleanest and best deal for the price. Nice, brand-new flat-screen with tons of channels, fridge and microwave, coffee-maker, comfortable bed and pillows, etc., easy walk to town. Steve - the owner- went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. This is my new "go-to" hotel whenever I'm in town.

Our reception was good. However, the room had its issues. We had to make 2 trips to the front office for amenities. The coffee pot still had coffee in it from the last (who knows when) guests. When we dropped an item and had to retrieve it from the floor well, lets just say under the bed had not been swept in quiet some time. In all fairness the gentleman at the front desk said that he had been having trouble with the "girls" who did the cleaning. Maybe things are better now.

This motel was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, affordable, and the service was great. The only thing that might pose a slight issue is the wifi, it was a little slow but that didn't really cause any problems for me since we went to Quincy for a funeral and did not spend a lot of time in the motel. But back to the service, my brother-in-law and his family needed a place to stay at the last minute. When they came to check availability at Spanish Creek Motel the man working the desk (the owner?) called someone who had a reservation who hadn't showed yet and found out that they wanted to cancel their reservation and my brother-in-law's family was able to stay there. This motel did everything I expected of it and more. I would be happy to stay here again the next time I am in Quincy.

Older motel, small shower, air conditioner did not work but had ceiling fan. Did have small fridge. Poor lighting. Adequate bed but pillows were too large. Continental breakfast was poorly stocked. Convenient location, close to restaurants and gas. Good for one night pass through stay

This place would be great for $50. Tolerable for $60. But for $98, we felt seriously cheated. |Comfortable bed. Clean. Quiet if you get a room in the back. |The towels were hand-me-downs from Motel 6. The shower head was severely restricted and challenging to control. ||Owner Operator on site for 25 years.
