We stayed in the Oak room for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay - the location was amazing (very easy walk to everything) and the cabin + fire place was so cute and cozy. The kitchenette was also very handy and updated. We are giving the Fireside Inn 3 stars because 1. The bed was HORRIBLE. I mean, it was almost like sleeping on the ground… very firm. 2. The bathroom could use updating. There was a huge gash in the linoleum on the floor that was pretty unsightly. The shower was nice but could also use a little sprucing up. The main reason I point this out is because of the price point - for what we paid, I feel like the bathroom could be a little nicer. In addition, the bed in the room listing had this nice blanket and throw pillows and those were missing from our room. Just felt a little more cheap than what we expected. BUT! All in all, the place had lots of charm and was perfect for what we needed it for. With the updates I mentioned, I’d give this place 5 stars.

It is a comfortable room with a small kitchenette and fireplace. Be sure to bring your own wood and starter. We were there for only one night, and it was very quiet. The only thing we didn't like was the bed was hard and not comfortable for either of us. It was located within walking distance of town.

We Loved our stay at the Fireside Inn in the Oak Room. We can’t wait to come back and try the other rooms. We felt so relaxed here. We loved the fireplace. It was grey, windy and misty out, so the cabin was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the updated appliances and tv. Made our stay feel like home. The town is also walking distance. We can get everywhere we needed on foot. Plus we loved the double doors. The entrance door and patio back door.

Location is within walking distance to the village & nearby restaurants including the small town movie theater.
The cabin itself was outdated, could use a major makeover. Please get rid of that creepy four-legged lamp (looks like something left over from an animal sacrifice)
I booked two nights here, spent one night & left in the afternoon rather than spending a second night.
Seriously, could not sleep that first night! I saw mouse bolt from the fireplace straight to the kitchen and go underneath the refrigerator.
I had to place towels at the bedroom door, knowing that it could easily crawl under and come into the bedroom.
I just couldn’t bring myself to spend another night there, just creeped me out.

Needed a last minute spot and I lucked out with Fireside. Mike was so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. We stayed in the Sequoia cabin and it exceeded our expectation. Felt like a home away from home and the loft was next level. Overall, would come back and will be recommending to friends. Overall 10/10 so stoked.

I had an amazing stay at the Sequoia cabin. Though the cabin itself was old, the appliances were new and the amenities Airbnb-like. Check-in and check-out was really easy.

Great location. Everything else is incredibly mediocre, if not worse. Over priced and under whelming. As if someone saw what people get away with on airbnb and said “hold my beer”.

If you’re in a bind and don’t mind paying premium for the bare minimum—this’ll do.

I booked the property on its location, which is fantastic, but was so happy to find it looking just like its pictures! We (my husky) and I stayed in the adorable Piñon room. It has everything you need for a short stay in the mountains. Quiet comfort. Bed was great! I brought my dog’s bed so he would be comfortable as well! Great stay!
