Stayed here for 4 nights and didn’t get one good nights sleep!! First night guest Dow stairs played music until 6:30 am, next night another guest was fighting domestic violence some long term guests staying in the back suite were fighting. Then the last night which was last night some young guys staying right below blasted the music until 3:30 in the morning I contacted manager and she could care less then I contacted Mr. b and he said he would message them to turn music off they took 20 mins to turn it done then they turned the music back up. This is not a safe place to stay and they do not care about thier guests.

Nice little stay in Del Ray. We were looking for something close to the Kia Center for a show & this little unit fit the bill. We stayed in the back of the Guest House in a cute room with a Living room/Bedroom/Bath. We loved the location as we also wanted to travel up to Santa Monica/Malibu.||My 1st impressions was a little underwhelmed bc my expectations were a bit off . . . so to help you, there is no clear signage/welcome area from the street to verify you are in the right place BUT the directions provided by the host are very clear and straight forward so we easily found our way into the unit. Once we were in the yard, there were lovely planters and flowering plants to indicate we were in the right place. This bit of curb appeal was very welcoming. ||The unit its self was clean and had everything we needed. There was a fridge a coffeemaker and dishes to use, although we didn't eat there or use the kitchen. We easily found the towels for the shower and extra blankets. After a long drive and our 1st show at the kia center - the bed bed felt like landing on a cloud. We both had nice hot showers the next morning & plenty of towels. There were some type of fans but we didn't know how to adjust, but there were windows we could open for a bit of air. The room was fresh & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.||I walked around outside in the shared spaces/family area the next am - plenty of cute spaces to relax, they have lovely plants & gardens are are working on a few more spaces. Some spaces/gardens are a work in progress, but I can see all the work the owners are putting the property. There is a roof deck, I was a little nervous up there bc there was nothing to prevent someone from falling off (& I am a nervous nelly). The view was great. I would not recommend that space for kids. They had lighting all night out back that I saw and that was very pretty. | |There is on-street parking and the neighborhood was quiet. We found a great pizza shop right up the street and a great coffee shop around the corner.| |Another reviewer mentioned feeling unsafe. There were doors to other places in the unit all had deadbolts on them and the room to the bedroom had an additional lock on it on the inside. I felt safe in our room and I was staying with my husband.||In summary, this Guest house provided everything we needed. It was clean although I did find other peoples hair in the shower and in on the carpet - but that is understandable. I was a little thrown off by the unregistered car in the driveway, I just wasn't sure I was at the guest house vs. someone's residence. I am newer at this AirBnb thing though. We felt safe. the unit owners are clearly working hard to make this a lovely guest house. The communication was excellent. As a friend to other travelers, although the expectation is a bit different from the photos in my opinion - I would recommend staying here.

Just had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Green Ginger guesthouse in Playa Del Rey, California. Had a wonderful room with a king size bed, and a gorgeous bathroom complete with rain showerhead and a Jacuzzi tub! Just outside my room was a beautiful garden that included a hot tub that I took advantage of. My business was all on the west side so this was a perfect location, I highly recommend staying here.

Very clean room and comfy bed. The staff who cleans the rooms is very nice. There is a nice jacuzzi as well. Located only 5 mins from the beach and little village down the hill. Great view of LA from the rooftop. Good quite location. There also was complimentary coffee.

No hotwater in the shower. There is a Keurig machine, but no keurig cups. Called the number to try and rectify, no answer. Won’t be staying here ever again and recommend you do the same

Unfortunately the poor reviews are accurate. The pictures don’t reflect the current condition of the property. Hot tub was disgusting, rooms are dated, backyard is overgrown and the rooftop deck is dangerous. On top of that, the owner charged us for 3 nights and we only stayed 2. Poor experience, do not recommend.
