Very happy with the stay and the service provided. Much better than many others in this price range. A 24 hr diner right outside and the view of Mt Shasta is also a bonus. Check-in was a breeze. Had all the amenities, we didn't use most of it as we stayed only for a night. Very neat and clean, not noisy. Slept better than we sleep at home thanks to the awesome mattress and pillows. Coffee machine was missing but the diner and the vending machines should take care of that I guess. Also a lot of coffee shops nearby.

A very quaint little spot in the middle of now where with a diner neighboring it! Loved our stay, very nice staff including a very cool older lady in the diner who has the best playlist!

Arrived after a long day of driving to find a cheerful waitress at diner who checked me in quickly. In the room I was very pleased to find it perfectly clean. No odd odors. A pristine room with an excellent air conditioner. I was told head of housekeeping is Dena and she is to be commended. Also the adjoining diner has a fine staff and a very good menu. A lot of comfort food too, like actual hand dipped milk shakes! Worth the stop.

I no longer trust the Wyndham name||||Scrupulously clean. ||Comfortable bed. ||Nice room furnishings. ||Spacious room. ||Good WiFi. ||Cleaning staff very helpful. ||But it’s hard to recommend this facility because:||The main entry door keycard malfunctions. It takes 4-5 keycards tries to open the door. Room door opens fine. This really needs to be fixed!!!||Drip in bath tub. ||Not having elevator is hard on older guests (that’s me) with luggage. ||Check-in at the diner across the parking lot is an odd economizing choice and it took awhile. ||Rooms weren’t ready for some guests with reservations who arrived just as I did. ||Toilet seat must be held open to stay upright. ||I had to use my knife to open the plastic covering of the bar soap. ||The bathtub looked sketchy so I showered. ||Lots of little frustrations ….

Positive: I loved the view of Mt. Shasta nearby, the bed was large and wonderfully comfortable, the room felt spacious enough, it was clean, and the check-in staff seemed nice. We didn't get to try the diner, but I liked our stay enough that I plan to return. Negative: Not really.

Great resting spot after a long drive! It’s located right on the interstate! Did not have any issues sleeping at night. You cannot really hear the noise coming from the interstate.

Hotel staff were great and checked us in early. Penny's diner looked cool but we didn't use it in the end. Short drive into Dunsmuir which was quite quiet. The supermarket was well stocked for a small place. We had a great dinner at Sparkys Landing in Mt Shasta, which was a short drive away.
