There is no staff on site but they have a 24/7 phone number you can call. Location was easy to find and literally just a few minutes drive from Julian. I had the Rosewood room and it was beautifully decorated. Heads up, the bathroom is somewhat open to the bedroom, so make sure staying you're with someone you're close to, if you get my meaning! The room had a fireplace with complimentary firewood and a TV with streaming service. The view from the front door was breathtaking and the cats on site were so vocal and sweet when you pet them. There was a common area with a pool table and also a full size working kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.

I stayed in the Mountain View room with my dog and had the most relaxing weekend ever. The lodge is tucked away on Pine Hill but close enough to the bustle of downtown Julian. Taking time off for an out of town two week vacation is tough to do, not to mention expensive, so a weekend in Julian at this place was an excellent alternative. The giant kitchen had everything I needed plus a bonus of eggs, milk, oatmeal, and snacks. Very well equipped! I didn't need a single extra pot or pan or spoon, etc. Amazing views from my room, the deck, the living room...everywhere. I loved the self check-in/out, no need to wait in line at a desk and complete freedom to check in anytime after 4pm without fear of losing the reservation at a certain time. A little way to the south I found a great place to hike with my dog and a little further west a cluster of places to eat, including an amazing bakery. Great location, very cute old timey deco, and did I mention the views?!

Stayed at the tranquility suite. Nice big room with two bedrooms. Access to the patio deck with nice views of the mountains. Free coffee, eggs, bread, oatmeal, fruits, and other snacks in kitchen. We had a fun family time playing board games, pool table, puzzles, etc. cat outside is adorable and super friendly.

We loved our stay here. We needed somewhere close by for a wedding in Julian, and this was not only the perfect location logistically, but the mountain views made for a beautiful and tranquil home base. The Rosewood Suite was comfortable and cozy, and well-stocked with coffee, towels and toiletries. The refrigerator was an added bonus as we brought leftovers home nearly every day. Self-check in was extremely easy and convenient. The cherry on top was I left a jacket in the room after checking out and the lodge mailed the jacket to me, clear across the country, for free. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Wife and I had such a relaxing weekend. We wanted to get away and found a great place to stay. Gorgeous scenery with a quiet and clean atmosphere. The location was extremely convenient since it only took 6 - 15 minutes depending on the restaurant. Only thing would be the parking since it is narrow and a bit steep.

The location was conveniently close to Julian. The harmony room was comfortable. We enjoyed the remarkable views from the deck immensely. The feline friends were adorable. My only suggestion would be to have a wider selection of teas.
