The room is pretty and homey, I loved the space and the view. The owners were friendly. I was surprised that the shower, toilet and mirrors were dirty. The shower looked like it had not been cleaned for quite some time and I had to take time out of my vacation to scrub it myself, which was frustrating. I'd love to go back, but I'd like to feel assured that the room will be properly cleaned next time.

My husband and I had a great time staying here. We stayed in the back unit, and the balcony had a beautiful view. We can't wait to go back again. The room was adorable, so beautifully decorated. Great shower! Super clean! The owners are so friendly! Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

This is not a hotel, or inn or motel. This is a HOUSE. The description online is FALSE advertisement. I'm disappointed in hotels.com for honoring this. When we drove up, a man approached our car slowly with a mad look, and asked why we were on the property. He said to come in his dirty, cluttered and foul smelling living room to check in . I left scared , saying I had to meet my family and check other hotel options . We felt very unwelcome and didn't feel like this was a safe place to stay. I will follow up for a refund with my card company since the owner charged my card after I cancelled. Hotels.com is anlso investigating this property. I imagine this home owner is making money on many people like me. This should not be allowed.

I absolutely loved this place! Very private, secluded, quiet property with acres of forest to explore, plenty of flora and fauna to see. Just minutes from an amazing beach and seconds from historic downtown Ferndale. Cannot recommend highly enough!

This little above the garage apartment is adorable. It's comfortable and private.
The owners are super friendly and accommodating.
We saw deer from our private balcony.
I'd come back to Ferndale just to stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay. Ferndale is a nice quiet town. The view at this inn is amazing. Clean rooms, cozy atmosphere

This comfy, cozy place is hidden away in a beautiful wooded area of Ferndale. We had an upstairs apartment with fireplace, microwave, toaster and fridge. We also enjoyed a large deck with lovely views of the surrounding areas. Good coffee was provided. The only down side was the slanted ceiling in the bedroom. It was a bit cramped for tall people.

This was a wonderful and beautiful location. The room was very cozy and had everything needed. We had our grandkids for the weekend and there was plenty of room and they were allowed to play outside on the grounds. The hosts were very sweet and welcoming. Walking distance to everything downtown and the public beach at the end of the road was amazing! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Ferndale!
